Highlights: CPA Congress 2011
CPA Congress 2011 was held in nine locations across five countries and proved itself a major event for accounting and business professionals. 9000 people from many companies and backgrounds attended.
CPA Congress 2011 included stellar speakers who addressed delegates on a variety of finance, business and leadership topics. Highlights included:
- Will Whitehorn, Former President of Virgin Galactic, blew audiences away with insights into his ground-breaking project for Virgin – commercial space travel. Will spoke in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and London
- sass & bide founders Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke impressed Sydney delegates with their style and savvy business sense
- The WikiLeaks, freedom and political sensitivities panel ran in Melbourne and Sydney. Speakers Geoffrey Robertson QC, Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG and Hon Philip Ruddock MP engaged in a lively debate which challenged audiences
- John Anderson, Founder of Contiki, kicked off Melbourne Congress on a high note
- Anders Sorman-Nilsson created a buzz in Adelaide with his interesting perspectives on technology 2020
